BENDING ENGINEER

 

Our worldwide oil and gas client is currently recruiting for an experienced Bending Engineer to work on a major Canadian pipeline project.  

 

Some of the duties and responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

 

  • Analyze, survey, report & collect data on-site to accurately construct pipelines

  • Manage repairs, maintenance & replacement of infrastructure

  • Ensure safety, quality & productivity of all pipe and tube bending

  • Develop layouts from drawings, samples or instructions

  • Inspect all end product for accuracy

  • Communicate effectively with other related departments

 

To be considered for this role you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

 

  • Three to five years previous experience in a similar role

  •  Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent

  • Ability to coordinate and schedule production effectively with other departments

  • Excellent communication, time management & troubleshooting skills

 

This position requires you to live onsite in a camp environment with a scheduled rotation for on/off-site.

Assistant Project Engineer

 

Our worldwide oil and gas client is currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Project Engineer to work on a major Canadian pipeline project.  As the Assistant Project Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting the project engineer & project manager with reconstruction, construction management & administration for all projects.

 

Some of the duties and responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

 

  • Conducting tests & inspection on all engineering techniques

  • Preparing reports & calculations on data found

  • Synthesizing data & maintaining control charts

  • Resolving problems through effective research and making modifications as required

  • Prepares permits, applications, plans & compliance reports

  • Conducts quality assurance tests

  • Ensures operations are effective and meets cost standards

 

 

To be considered for this role you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

 

  • 3-5 years in a similar role/environment

  • Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent

  • High attention to detail

  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal

  • Complies with all codes & regulations
